Nursery
Purpose: Wonder

Ages Birth - 2 years of age or when potty-trained
When: During all Adult Services & Family KonneXion Live!

Ministry Overview
1. Teach less for more: repeat, repeat, repeat! Repeat the key verse and virtue. Weave it into all you do.
2. Engage five senses: help them learn the lesson engaging all senses.
3. Teach with the end in mind: a. God made me. b. God loves me. c. Jesus wants to be my friend forever!
4. Connect with Parents: Provide parents with ideas to spark spiritual conversation at home.
5. Experience Worship: Encourage children to talk to God any time, any place.

The purpose of our Nursery is to assist families. We recognize that every baby is a gift from God. We want to serve each parent and their child by providing for their needs. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment so that each child in our care feels loved and happy. 
We want parents to feel comfortable leaving their child in the Nursery.  We recognize that parents need time together to worship, receive the Word and be spiritually fed in order to be able to care for their children in Godly ways.

- Our Nursery Staff wears badges so that you may easily identify them.
- Trained staff oversees all care.
- All volunteers are screened.
- Our Nursery is kept clean and inspected.
- Children with illness are not admitted into the nursery.
- Parents are notified immediately through pager or the attendant in charge if their child needs them.
- Visiting parents will be given a pager.

Parents are asked to avoid entering the Nursery.  The Nursery counter serves as a drop off and pick up point. Separation Anxiety is a very natural thing for children to go through.  A few helpful hints to consider in this situation:  Stay calm, pick up your children on time, avoid long good-byes, and pass them to the nursery staff with a smile as you reassure your child.  If your child does cry, we will do everything to calm them and reassure them.  The more consistent you are in bringing your child to church the quicker your child will feel comfortable in the nursery.

Parent's Room and Nursing Mom's Room

If your child needs to stay with you during the service, you can view the service in the Mother's Room or Family Room. A special place for nursing moms is provided in the North Wing opposite the nursery. If you need assistance in finding these rooms, please ask an usher.

Changing Stations

For your convenience, there is a changing station located in the Mother's Room as well as the South Wing washroom.

We offer two adult Sunday morning services at 9:15 & 11:30 am
